I find it interesting how we are shaped by our own process. After writing Sunday’s post, Pick 1 Out of 10 and “Just Do It,” I picked a goal of finishing writing a guest post for Tamara Suttle’s blog, Private Practice from the Inside Out.
However, I have a little a secret to let you in on. I was guilty of procrastinating on following through. And after writing the post I made a choice to “Just do It.” Sometimes we need to get past our own barriers and get on with it.
Tamara is one of my on-line buddies I adore. We all need a community where we can build relationships with allies and Tamara has helped build an on-line community of like-minded helpers.
Why am I telling you this? First of all, I want to share with you my break through on my follow through. Second, I hope you will stop over at Tamara’s blog on Tuesday and read my guest post. Why is this importance? Because it is okay to toot your own horn when you have accomplished something. Tooting your own horn is a way of rewarding yourself. Go ahead and toot your horn even if it to one person. I am waiting to hear your horn.
What progress have you made toward your goals? Even if you have taken one step toward your goal shout it out. “I started. I did it. I started again. I finished. “
